Check out all the fun and exciting activities available on the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge each month!

Some of the programs usually offered include: Nature Driving Tours, Birding Tours, programs on Bald Eagles, Manatees, Alligators and Butterflies and Pollinators. Junior Ranger programs are also often offered.

One of the most beloved programs is the narrated driving tours of the refuge on the refuge shuttle bus. The tour offers visitors the chance to learn about refuge wildlife, plants and resource management. Birding tours are offered seasonally as well. Space is limited so please call 321-861-5601 for reservations. Loaner binoculars are available.

Many of the programs are free to the public, or charge a nominal fee. Space is often limited so please contact the MINWR Visitor Center at 321-861-5601 to sign up in advance.
